The agreement is a suitable starting place to build our readiness for love.

Reading this page follows an agreement between  yourself and myself to exchange money for information: the beginning of a form of relationship. The observational skill  required to make  agreements that work to support the possibility of intimacy assists in the observation of self fundamental to the other "essential ingredients" of a relationship. All relationships based on freedom of choice begin with an agreement of some sort, either explicit or implicit. "Let's play." One agreement, often not explicit, deals with power. Will both partners to the relationship agree to respect the other's right to be free of violence or coercion each from the other?
